Ann Brigitte West

Ann West is a Writer, Editor, Designer, and Illustrator.


After graduating from Stanford  with a BS in Electrical Engineering, Ann created a successful career in Silicon Valley as a Technical Writer and Editor. Her award-winning work  is  still in use. In 2010, Ann began her Digital Illustration career with her professors at Otis College of Art and Design. She specializes in document layout, composition, digital illustration, digital imaging, and two-dimensional design.

 

Ann is an expert user of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, through her Digital Media Arts certificate. She is also an expert user of Adobe FrameMaker, through her technical writing career.

 

Ann is passionate about illustration, design, art, writing, editing, and content management. She is a leader in her community. She's been an art instructor in the Redondo Beach Unified School District for five years. She's on the Design Committee for the RBUSD, that plans and defines the art curriculum for 9,300 public school students.

 

She is also the Secretary and a Board Member for REAL Creative Space, a nonprofit community arts center in Westchester, California.
